Chicken Lesson 2 -

We have a chicken that is nesting.  The Feed and Seed store guy told me that she won't come out of it until we let her hatch some eggs.  He game me three fertile eggs for her to hatch out.  We had a time trying to sneak the eggs under her.  When you open the nesting box top, she looks up at you like "Hey, close the door!  Can't you see I'm busy?!"

Fred says her look is like opening the door on someone in the bathroom when they aren't expecting it.

I didn't want to crack one of the fertile eggs accidentally for breakfast one morning so I put a little "face" on the fertile eggs with a magic marker.  (Yeah, I know - I'm pretty smart!)
