DIY Projects

When we first moved into this house, we had to gut the old kitchen and add all new cabinetry, countertops, etc. When we talked about having a table or island in the kitchen, we opted for an island but I wanted something different.  We found an old dresser at a thrift store which was just the right height for $75.00.  We brought it home, stripped it and painted it white, then added new hardware and a granite piece on top.  It is the center of my kitchen and I love all the drawer space!
